Jacksonville Giants. Savannah Grizzlies

The Jacksonville Giants played the Savannah Grizzlies Wednesday evening at the Bob Hayes Sports Complex and Legends Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
Jacksonville, ranked number 1 by the ABA Power Rankings, capitalized on Grizzlies turnovers to lead after the first quarter 40-27.
At half time Jacksonville led 83-55. Jacksonville seven foot center, Jermaine Bell had 24 points and Savannah Nick Wallery had 16 points at intermission.
After three quarters, Jacksonville led 120-88. Final score: Jacksonville Giants 164 Savannah Grizzlies 123.
Leading scorer for the game was Jermaine Bell with 35 points with an assortment of dunks and outside shots. Ed Horton added 23 and Anthony Jackson scored 20.
For Savannah, Sherod "Hot Rod" Harris scored 32 points. Kenny "Sky" Walker added 22 points(20 points were scored in the third period).
It is interesting to note that eight players for the Grizzlies in the game tonight, at one time  played for the Jacksonville Giants.
After the game, Grizzlies Head Coach, Willie Ponds, talked about the game.
